So now that you’ve read their amazing proposal, this is the second part of Andrew and Caroline’s unforgettable weekend at Daufuskie Island, South Carolina! After the big party the night before, Andrew had organized custom made t-shirts for himself and Caroline to wear the next day, this is a cute detail in their story, because one of the gifts Andrew gave Caroline the day before was a t-shirt quilt blanket made from t-shirts from trips, events, and fun things they had done together during their time dating. So he designed these special t-shirts for them to wear during the day and for the church service he arranged. Christ is the center of their relationship and put first in the way they live their lives, so Andrew asked their family priest to accompany everyone on the Island for a special service.

Later that day we went out with Andrew and Caroline to take their well-deserved beach engagement pictures! We went to all the special spots on the island, the foot bridge, the water front, the ferry dock, but most important the post in the middle of the beach where Andrew asked Caroline to be his girlfriend! Their life together as more than friends began at this spot so it was essential we took photographs as their life as an engaged couple also began!

One of the most special things about Andrew and Caroline are the people they are when they are together. Seperate, they live amazing lives always thinking of others and trying the do their best. But when you get them together, their love and joy is contagious. They are always laughing, always smiling, and just put you in a good mood by being around them, I am not sure what was said in these next pictures, but the pure emotion is one of my favorite pictures!
